City of Hamilton Signature Artist for Arts Week 2025

Looking back on 2025, I was fortunate to receive a generous grant from the City of Hamilton to explore the sounds of the city’s industrial zones. This funding offered another opportunity to collaborate with Andrew Dickson, and together we created Echoes — a sound and video installation that celebrates Hamilton’s industrial soundscape.

Echoes channels the enduring rhythms of a city shaped by steel, capturing its unique sonic character with reverence and care. This immersive work invites audiences to reflect on the strength of labor, the richness of legacy, and the powerful sonic identity that continues to resonate through Hamilton’s vibrant industrial past.
